Championship

Blogging Challenge part 1 – Day 21

Last year’s championship 🏆 trophies Fall #2021

Each day is your opportunity to be a champion.

What does it mean to you to be a champion? Who is a champion that you know in your life?

Growing up when you start playing with others and being around peers you may develop a certain amount of competitiveness.

This competitiveness can occur on fields, courts, in schools, corporations, and more places. Me personally, I am extremely competitive but I have battled internally trying to know why that is.

As a young caterpillar, I was moreso not wanting to lose or be on the bottom vs. being competitive. Opportunities to win were group opportunities being able to join the pizza parties, school field days, and more.

Reflection – This was rather conditioning wasn’t it? The condition of listening or behaving based on a metric which is subject to another human (teachers) perspective. The control of our experiment would be the well resulting in the chance to party.

Conditioning kids to follow rules and to give rewards based on them following rules, psychologically this could be positive reinforce right or no?

How many of you have won a reward, received recognition, or were the victors of a championship?

What did you feel when you discovered this success?

“Success is what you make it”. Ever heard this one before?

Claim or reclaim your success, be great!

We are building we are healing we are peaceful we are mighty.

  1. Quite compelling, informative and nostalgic. I remember winning an 8gb flash disk from a local newspaper organisation in high school after emerging number 2 in a writing competion. It was everything to me. Indeed, conditioning can sometimes motivate people to work hard and succeed. I love this. 💘
