Disclaimer: If something resonates with the best version of you, then by all means enjoy it, the choice is yours! (I’ll try and update as often as I find something and remember to do so!) =) (last update January 9, 2022)

The reason I am creating this page of resources is that I wish I as an Afrikan Successor of Afrikan Glory, that I had someone or someplace that offered me some sort of guidance into my culture, beliefs, and custom’s pre-Eurocentrism. I didn’t begin to find a lot of this information until 2012 when I was already attending University.

In other words: as a child and teenager, it is possible to get lost in the sauce, a teenager could think MTV and BET videos were real.

Resume Builders:

For those young adults, teenagers, and kids out there who have stopped by the page, consider volunteering or similar activities to build up a strong resume. When I was 13 or 14, I had my first job working as a cart pusher and bagging groceries. For me, this job was lucrative, I was bringing home my own money this was a high honor and privilege. But not everyone has this opportunity, some readers may not have had or considered having their first job until they are within their early adult years, 18,19,20. If this is you, it’s ok, there’s still plenty of time, but let’s start honing those skills of yours for the future.

Take a look at nearby volunteer activities eligible for your age

Volunteer at your local church, school, or with an adult that your parents know and trust (make sure you have adequate supervision).

Interesting Youtube Video’s

Youtube is such an amazing tool, and for all of the information that is on that, I ask that you don’t forget to fact check. Seriously fact check and soul search everything, question everything, because I ended up in a cult being so into the information I received from particular youtubers. I am sure that you will do much better than me, however I just want to share my genuine experience. Use youtube with caution, try to stay focused.

Free Food Resources

In the United States of America, if you are hungry, there are ways to get food for free legally. Depending on the circumstances all you need to do is have a little bit of know how and you could have some satisfying meals. Now I am not speaking to the nutritional value of these free meals, rather I am speaking to you being able to get food when there are those who do not have the same options.

Birthday Resources:

Red Robins – One of my favorite birthday spots to frequent is Red Robins, there Free Bday Burger has been great for me for at least 2 or 4 years!

Denny’s – I am not sure about how you all feel about Denny’s but that was a spot that I frequented on birthday’s when cash was short, check out the free bday grand slam that they offer. Must be 18 or older to sign up

Food Banks:

Everyone needs help sometimes, look around your area to see what resources are available to you.

There are various food banks that you are able to visit to see if they can offer you some nutritional assistance (not food stamps!). I have had the blessing of getting some really decent products from food banks, at no cost, not only food but pet food and certain hygienic items as well.
